The striper fishing on the James in Richmond has died down considerably in the past week and a half. Best fishing is still at low tide with a sassy shad or diamond jig, but don't expect too much success and anything over 24 inches. Good news is the flatheads and largemouth have started hitting nicely on spinners, worms, and jerkbaits.

Thanks for the report.
Good luck with the catfishing.
