I've fished the section of Craig Creek that is just North of 460 (near Blacksburg). This section of Craig Creek is stocked and while I saw numerous stocked trout, it's very hard to catch them as the water is clear and shallow. You can count on spooking these fish as they will see you coming.
Other than Tom's Creek, this is the DIRTIEST creek I've ever fished. There is so much manmade trash floating in or around the creek it really made fishing here unenjoyable. I did catch my first ever trout on a flyrod here, but given the opportunity I'd rather drive a few more miles and hit Little Stoney.1 stars
