where on kerr lake can you catch the big lagemouth at?

I have caught a lot of fish at buggs island over the 20 years i have been fishing their. i go every spring, but i have not caught a largemouth above 6 to 7 lbs. anybody have any hot spots that they would be willing to shair with me
