  • Caught 3 largemouth bass and a bluegill in a few hours. The lily pads along the right side are a hot spot!

  • Caught a largemouth bass , chain pickerel, and a yellow perch here today and all on the in-line spinner. I even saw a carp attack it but I didn't get him. Really neat place.

Bolivar Pond Description

The pond abuts one of the Canton public swimming pools. There is free parking and access to the water is easy. Water is quite murky / muddy with very low visibility. There are some good sized carp in there as well as small bass. Bottom is muddy but weeds are few suggesting that the water is regularly treated with herbicides. The Canton Fire Department practices its water rescues here.
