Review: I have fished this Lake several times from the fishing pier. I find that the Bluegill and Sunfish here are somewhat stunted. There are Crappies here as well, even though the profile does not show that species. I did see a person catch a small Musky from the pier, but other than that I have never seen any fish of note come out of here. Someone must be catching them but you wouldnt know it by me. There are always people on the pier when I go.

Review: I have only fished this lake once in the fall of 2007. The lake was very low and the boat ramp (VA Department of game ramp) was difficult to use because of the water level of the lake. The parking near the VA Department of Game's boat ramp was very limited. I have heard this is the best Largemouth bass fishing in northern virginia, but I did not have much luck.
