Hey, I am new to the area as well ( about 8 months) I know of some spots in Winchester, ( about 1 hr west of you down Rt 7 ) .
Clearbrook Lake ( Park) stocked w/ trout
Hogues Creek stocked w/ trout ( i have had good results here)
Shenadoah River ( Lg Mouth Bass, perch , catfish)
Twin Lakes ( lots of Bass and catfish ) |

| Other places that are close are Holmes Run for stocked trout which is close to baily's crossroads. As well as Goose Creek - Keep Loudoun Beautiful park off of Rt 7. The potomac has good fishing too. I like to go to river Bend park off of Old Georgetown Road. |
