| Are there any bass in the Carvins Cove and if so any idea where there is a good hole or what they are taking? |

Carvins Cove is loaded with bass.
Last summer and fall I did not have a single trip there when we did not catch a limit, even the short two hour one.
This spring I've had trouble finding the fish with the water rising and being a little off colored. I am new to the Cove and had not had experience with springtime and a full pool.
The typical fish in Carvin's Cove for me has been 2.5 to 3 pounds. Nice fish. I usually troll for them which I know is not the most popular way but as I am getting older I am also getting lazier. It also enables me to cover more water.
I have not fished the Cove in the last month because of boat motor problems. I should be back to fishing it in another week or so. I always post reports. |
