This site is still brand new and I need to really market it to get more users like yourself, but I'm just trying to get a feel for what you think about it so far. Do you see a lot of potential in it? No potential? things we can fix? Any feedback is greatly appreciated! I strongly believe that once we get a lot of people contributing and people talking about it with their friends, than this site can take off and really become a useful tool for fisherman like ourselves. Just want to see if you agree.
Thanks,
Dave O |

I agree that the site layout and design is pretty good.
Perhaps you can offer free use to guides and such so that it can get more reports and better message boards. |

Tonight (5/17/09) is my first night on here, but already I'm a big fan of the site. It would be nice to see more frequent posts by users in all areas of the message board, but I'm sure that will come with time--especially times when the fishing's the hottest.
A little about me:
After moving from northern Michigan at a young age, I grew up in Blacksburg fishing the New River for smallies, and Tom's, Craig, Poverty, and Big Stoney Creeks and Little River for trout every chance I could from about age 10. My chances increased significantly when I turned 16 and could drive my beautiful bright blue 85 Ford Ltd stationwagon unsupervised to these spots. I began fly fishing and tying sometime in high school, gave it up shortly after for many years until rekindling my passion for it earlier this year. I still prefer spincasting to fly fishing, but fishing's fishing whatever way it's done; I love it all. |

This website could do well but it is the users that make a website such as this, not the lay out.
I do have a suggestion. When posting a trip it only allows for reporting of a single species of fish. Many of us catch far more than one species per trip and would like to be able to report on all. |
