I was fishing my normal sopt after dinner tonight. There is a lot of vegitation in the water and sloppy mud all around the lake. This is prime habitat for bullfrogs. I was slowly retrieving my 10" plastic worm through the weeds, hoping for an ambush hit by a monster smallmouth. As the worm got close to the mud I had to sneeze. I stopped retrieving during the sneeze and that is when a massive bullfrog took my worm. I didnt know it was a frog. All I heard was a splashing and then a tug on my line. I set the hook and then saw the frog. I figured it was just a fluke and laughed about it and continued fishing. That is until I caught 2 more bullfrogs as I was pulling the worm through the grass.
Has anyone else ever had that happen? |
