Question for any one......
Has any one fished the Rappahannock using a float tube? If so what is it like is there areas deep enought to use or is it better to use wadders and just walk?
Thanks for your information.

Since there were no replies,
I decided to go and wade the Rappahannock River to scout but also try to catch some fish. Wading was good today the water level was low, fish were visible and hungry. After about 4 hours and wading thru some chest deep holes the results are 5 panfish, one small mouth bass, and one young large mouth bass. As it got closer to noon the fishing improved but find a lure that they would take was the other key. I started at Kelly's Ford and waded south. Had a great time and i will be going back for more. |
